Airventure Ballooning - The largest hot air balloon company in Houston offers flights seven days a week. A top-ranked, Federal Aviation Administration professional pilot serves as a guide. A great sightseeing adventure, this also can serve as a romantic ride for two. Flight lessons are available.
Alabama-Coushatta Tribe of Texas - Located on 4,600 acres in the Big Thicket forest near Lake Livingston, the Alabama-Coushatta tribe of Texas is the state's oldest Indian reservation. Features include a museum, gift shop, restaurant, tribal dance square and tours through the Big Thicket forest. A 26-acre  lake on the reservation, Lake Tombigbee is restocked annually with fish  and has cabins, 131 campsites and areas for picnicking and swimming.
Art Car Museum - The Museum features the most imaginative, elaborate, and artfully constructed art cars, low riders, and mobile contraptions, as well as displaying exhibitions of art by local, national, and international artists of all media.
Celebration Station - With two locations in Houston, this entertainment venue offers arcade games, batting cages, bumper boats, go-karts, miniature golf, children's rides and a resturant.
Children's Museum of Houston - The Children's Museum of Houston is the highest-attended youth museum in the country for its size and is dedicated to transforming communities through innovative, child-centered learning by providing hands-on exhibitions in the areas of science and technology, history and culture, health and human development, and the arts.

Downtown Aquarium - See exhibits of fully themed environments in the 500,000 gallons of underwater tanks such as the "Louisiana Swamp", "Shipwreck", "Rain Forest", "Sunken Temple" and "Gulf of Mexico". Entertaining and educational tours through exciting exhibits, video and audio. A restaurant-theme park.
Flying L Guest Ranch - This 770- acre guest ranch is a great vacation destination. Guests can fest on a  meal buffet-style or have a picnic by San Julian Creek. George Observatory - Located in Brazos Bend State Park, the observatory features three domed telescopes, including the 36-inch Gueymard Research Telescope-one of the largest telescopes in the nation. Also a meteorite exhibition and the Challenger Learning Center for Space Science Education, which simulates space missions, are housed on site.
George Ranch Historical Park - Step back in time at this historical ranch. Set on 23,000 acres of a working ranch and farmland, George Ranch Historical Park takes visitors through 100 years o f Texas history in an authentic historical setting. Learn about Colonial life, cattle drives, cowboys, blacksmiths and more. Other attractions include a visitor's center with museum exhibits and a gift shop.
The Houston Zoo - A large facility in Hermann Park features big cats, hippos, a primate and reptile center and a tropical bird aviary.
IMAX Theater - Ranked as one of the world's premier IMAX theaters, this 394 seat theater features the finest motion picture system in existence. Images of unsurpassed size, clarity and impact enhanced by a superb six-track sound system are projected onto a giant 60-by-80-foot screen.
Kemah Boardwalk - This waterfront destination boasts eight restaurants, including the Aquarium restaurant, which features a 50,000-gallon aquarium filled with marine life. Retail shops abound here, including plans for a 1940-themed upscale lady's boutique. The Boardwalk is the site of many events throughout the year.
LazerRage - In addition to laser tag games, LazerRage offers arcade, personal computer and Internet-style games. Party rooms also are available, and LazerRage is the site of many special events.
Minute Maid Field - Downtown ballpark with a retractable roof which opens up to the downtown skyline.
Moody Gardens - with 10-story glass Rainforest Pyramid and one of the world's three 3-D IMAX theaters, aquarium, in Galveston.
Planetarium - The planetarium offers the world’s most technologically advanced and realistic views of space and the universe. Giving visitors the feeling that they are traveling in space, high-resolution video technology projects images of planets, stars, meteors, solar systems and entire galaxies on the domed surface. The planetarium is also used to train Space Shuttle astronauts in star field identification.
Port of Houston Authority M/V Sam Houston Boat Tour - Tour the Port of Houston in this 90-minute, roundtrip cruise across the Houston Ship Channel. Reservations are required, and a free beverage is offered on the tour.

Scream World - Open from September through October, Scream World has three haunted attractions that are the main feature of this 4.5 acre theme park. Also available are concession stands, photo opportunities, palm readers, strolling magicians, scary movies and a scream contest.
Space Center Houston - Space Center Houston's unparalleled exhibits, attractions, special presentations and hands-on activities tell the story of NASA's manned space flight program. Wortham IMAX Theatre - Ranked as one of the world's premier IMAX theaters, this facility seats 394. The museum is known as both a producer as well as a screening house for award-winning productions.
